Reflection #4 Subject - Biology Project - Cell Analogy Group members - 1 person (Aidan Javier) Brief description of project - Find similar traits between the anatomy of a cell and some sort of establishment in the real world. 21st Century Skill - Information skills + Critical thinking skills Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, why? This project addresses information skills because I had to implement the information I learned about cells and use that info to see how it relates to something in the real world. It addresses critical thinking skills because it forced me to think really hard about how cells compare to real world things.
What are you most proud of from this assignment? I am most proud of my illustrations I made for the project.
How did you develop and/or improve your 21st century skill with this project? It improved my critical thinking skills by forcing me to think a lot about how to compare cell traits with real world things.
What was the most difficult part about completing this project? The most difficult part was thinking of the traits in a cell that can relate to my real world establishment (airport)
How could you improve this work? If you had the chance to redo it what what changes would you make? I could improve it by making it on an actual sturdy poster board instead of glueing 2 pieces of paper together.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? It relates to what we've learned in the past because we have learned a lot about cells and cell functions over the past 2 years.
